This mirror was deliverd to the UK in 13 days from ordering. The mirror has accurately and finely ground chamfers and has been accurately and carefully cut to 45 degrees. It is very well made and has a very good coating. The back has not been ground but remains optically clear which I have not come across before. There is one small, almost insignificant, scratch on the substrate (as it can be seen through the clear back it is not on the coating). Optically, comparing it to two other elliptical flats of the same size, it appears to have an accurate surface and I will be using this mirror in preference to the other 2 for my reflecting telescope project. Excellent service and item for the price I paid. I RECOMMEND THIS SELLER. |
